Our upgrade consists of a new radio control receiver module
that connects to an existing PDT type RF02 or RF03 control
unit to provide a convenient solution where replacement
transmitters for the original in-built PDT remote control
receiver cannot be obtained or if compatibility with a
Home-Link in-car remote control is required.

Our Seip remote control upgrade suits both 418Mhz and 433Mhz models
but it must be the pre-2005 type with a single pushbutton on the underside
of casing as shown below (not compatible with the new 'Rollertec' system
with 'up', 'stop' and 'down' buttons on the wall mounted control box)

The Seip EKR1MCG 24V receiver unit can be mounted inside the lid of your PDT control unit enclosure using the self adhesive pads supplied and connected to the terminal block as shown below

Having purchased a new car with the HomeLink built-in remote system I was disappointed to find my Seceuroglide doors were not compatible.... Q/ Can I use the spare button(s) on Seip keyfobs to control other doors or items around the home ?
A/ Yes - Seip produce a range of receivers to enable gates, water pumps & lights etc. to be controlled by spare buttons on the Seip keyfob

Q/ Will I still be able to use the original hand transmitters ?
A/ No, because the original wire antenna's must be removed from the PDT control box to avoid interaction with the new Seip receiver.

Q/ What is the range from which I can control the door ?
A/ The Seip Midi keyfob has a range of 75 to100 Mtrs whilst the smaller Mini fob offers slightly less range
