Remote control handset & keyfob transmitters

Radio Frequency Identification Seip type SE40 hand transmitters (40.685Mhz frequency) are identified by a pinky-red coloured button. These transmitter were supplied with most Seip door operators sold in the UK prior to August 1999 including the following models: UK60, UK80, APM60, APM80, ST60, ST77, ST77R, ST80 and early A45, A60, C75 and Easy SM120 models. SE40TX handsets are no longer available but the much smaller Seip four channel midi keyfob type 40 AM is fully compatible
A limited number of Seip operators were supplied from 1995 - 1998 with SE27TX handsets (26.995Mhz frequency) these had a purple button and are now discontinued but a radio system upgrade kit is available
The type is printed on the back of your original transmitter
433RC AM keyfob remotes were introduced in 1999 and Seip operator models A45, A60, C75 and Easy SM120 were supplied with these until 2002
Seip's current SKR series 433Mhz remote control transmitters (mini keyfob type SKRJ433 and midi keyfob type SKR433) were introduced in Sept 2002 with the launch of Seip TM60 & TS75, TS100 and RP60A door operators and Seip EKR series remote control receiver units. SKR series transmitters are used with all current Seip products including the new TM series door operators.
Compatibility Each remote control system manufacturer uses a unique security code protocol, therefore Seip transmitters can only be used with the specific make & model of equipment for which they were intended and will not be compatible with any other make of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same.
Note: Some Seip garage door operators have been sold as brand products e.g: ASI (Auto Systems Industries Limited of Maidstone)
