Compatibility Each remote control system manufacturer uses a unique security code protocol, therefore the above transmitters can only be used with the specific make & model of equipment for which they were intended and will not be compatible with any other make of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same Security Coding These transmitters have ten binary switches inside to set the security code to one of 1024 combinations. To programme your new keyfob transmitter (to a single door) Open an original Bernall/Weller transmitter that currently operates your door and note the position of the ten DIP switches. Set the ten switches in the replacement keyfob to the same sequence as your original. The new keyfob should now operate your door. Procedure for coding a twin-channel keyfob to a two-door installation 1/ Open an original Bernall/Weller transmitter that currently operates your left hand door and note the position of the ten DIP switches. Set the ten switches in the replacement two channel keyfob to the same sequence as your original. The left button on the new keyfob should now operate your left door. 2/ Remove the motor casing from the Bernall/Weller electric door operator on your right hand door and locate the small pushbutton on the electronic control panel within the motor housing marked 'learn' or 'memory' and press this button briefly, then (within 10 seconds) pick-up the twin button keyfob and press the right hand button. This completes the learn process and your two button keyfob should now operate both doors. Replace the motor casing. Notes: A/ the ten code switches in all the single or twin button transmitters you have must be set to the same sequence. B/ After completing the above procedure the right hand door can only be controlled from the right button on a two channel Bernall/Weller keyfob (a single channel keyfob will only control the left door) |
