Hormann Ecostar 40Mhz keyfob transmitter

Programming Procedure for Ecostar 40Mhz transmitters

1/  Switch off the electricity supply to the Ecostar garage door operator.

2/  Stand within range of the garage door operator and press the button on the new keyfob transmitter you wish to use and continue to keep it pressed while you restore the electricity supply to the Ecostar garage door operator.

The motor should have now stored the new signal and the next operation of the transmitter should open the door.

Programming Procedure for Ecostar 433Mhz transmitters
(also suits Garador Europro door operators)

433Mhz Ecostar garage door operators have an integral radio receiver
and a maximum of 6 different hand transmitters can be programmed.

Programming and deleting are only possible when the operator is at rest. (standby)

1/ Programming the desired hand transmitter button
Push the P button on the Ecostar operator motor cover briefly. The red LED will begin to flash, signalising that the desired hand transmitter button can be programmed. To do so, the hand transmitter button must be held down until the LED begins flashing rapidly. The hand transmitter button must then be released and pushed again within 15 seconds, until the LED begins flashing very rapidly. Now, release the hand transmitter button. Once the rapid flashing stops, the desired hand transmitter button has been successfully programmed and the red LED will remain lit.

2/ Deleting the remote control memory in the radio receiver (recommended if a handset has been lost or stolen)

Push the 'T' button on the operator cover and hold it down. The red LED will flash slowly for approx. 4 seconds, signalising readiness for deletion. The flashing rhythm becomes more rapid. Now, release the P button.
Note: The deletion process will be aborted if the P button is released before 4 seconds have elapsed. Once the rapid flashing stops, all memory spaces have been deleted and the red LED will remain lit. Follow the programming procedure to re-programme your keyfobs

Compatibility
Each remote control system manufacturer uses a unique security code protocol,
therefore the above transmitters can only be used with the specific make & model
of equipment for which they were intended and will not be compatible with any
other make of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same
